Is there a way to implement this so that each author will be using their own Adsense ID on their own articles? This way authors are paid directly. The publisher’s benefit is the extra traffic that good authors bring into the site – and subsequent conversions.

Should work… every user has its own pubid, but admin is one..
So, it will work in half

Looks sweet! Unfortunately not compatible with latest wordpress – e.g. 2.5.1 – error message was “database not installed”. Please put me on the list when this is updated, thx (or install subscribe to comments plugin!).
